The Multiple that Occupies Space
In contemporary times, the conceptual and practical boundaries of art have blurred due to the triumph of complex thought theories and the incorporation of new technological processes, which have led artists to position their creations in territories of interference. Graphic art, as we understand it today, is far more hybrid and complex when installed in space. This shift of the print has provoked new questions and induced some answers regarding the idea of the matrix that generates "multiples." The multiple perspective is returned to us in the 21st century as polyhedral, in a mutant invasive loop that colonizes the boundaries of definitions themselves. The objective of this project is to reflect on how the classic two-dimensionality of graphic art has transitioned toward a deeper and more immersive artistic experience. We will discover how multiple art has evolved from traditional two-dimensional paper prints to sculptural objects and, by extension, to their installation in space. We believe that the expanded and transdisciplinary graphic field opens different paths of inquiry to reach new territories, unexplored spaces. It transports us to a concept of graphic art that originates in and from space, demonstrating its potential and versatility while claiming itself as a total artistic discipline. Therefore, this interconnection is proposed as a method of exploring the phenomenon of *The Multiple that Occupies Space*.
