Fabiola Quintela (A Coruña, 1999), visual artist and predoctoral researcher at the University of Vigo.

Through an experimental and contemporary approach, her practice is situated at the intersection of different disciplines, exploring the pictorial possibilities of the image through various techniques and technologies of visual production, establishing a dialogue between analogue and digital processes.

Thematically, her work addresses questions related to perception and our relationship with landscape and nature, understanding them not only as physical spaces but also as symbolic and poetic territories from which to construct personal imaginaries and forms of identity.

Working within a methodology open to experimentation, she incorporates chance, drift, and intuitive exploration as creative tools, placing the process itself at the core of the conceptual development of the work. Blur, degradation, error, and indeterminacy are no longer understood as accidents but become artistic resources that expand the expressive potential of the image and its range of interpretations, inviting viewers to engage in active observation and reflection.

Her work has been presented in various group exhibitions and experimental film festivals.
