Carlos Fer (Carlos Fernández López) is a visual artist and pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Vigo. He graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo with the Xunta de Galicia’s End of Degree Award and specialised with a Master’s Degree in Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Drawing and Audiovisuals, both from the University of Granada. He has been awarded grants with the Collaboration with University Departments grants (2018-2019) and with the Uvigo Predoctoral Grants (2022-present).

His contributions were exhibited at international congresses such as Add+Art in Barcelona, CSO in Lisbon or exhibitions such as Novos Valores, Do final e do Comezo or Gender Design. His professional experience also includes two years of teaching at the ESDIR in Logroño and at the EASD Pablo Picasso in A Coruña as a professor of Plastic Arts and Design.
