Sara Piñeiro is an artist and researcher. After graduating in Fine Arts from the UVigo, she completed a Master’s degree in Art Direction in Advertising from the same university. That same year, she received the Collaboration Scholarship with Departments and participated as an internal student in the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Pontevedra. Later, she moved to Bilbao where she completed her training by completing the Master’s degree in Painting from the UPV/EHU and a semester-long stay in Berlin at the studio of Regina de Miguel. Since the end of 2023, she has been hired as a predoctoral researcher by the Xunta de Galicia in the Contemporary Art Creation and Research program at the UVigo and is a member of the research group Dx5 [Digital & Graphic Art Research].
