Dennise Sánchez Vaccarello she is artist and researcher. Her academic training began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona (2013), after which she completed a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Art, Creation and Research at the University of Vigo (2015) and the PhD programme in Creation and Research in Contemporary Art at the same university (2021).
As a researcher she has been part of the dx5_digital & graphic art_research group thanks to a research contract from the Universidade de Vigo. Her research work is complemented by her participation in several artistic residencies and research stays, such as the Gil Artist Residency (Iceland, 2019), the i2ADS (University of Porto, 2018), the VI Bienal de Cerveira Residencies (Portugal, 2016) or EXPLORADORES15 (San Simón Island, 2015).
Since 2011 his work has been exhibited in various solo and group exhibitions, becoming part of various catalogues and collections, both nationally and internationally. She has exhibited in venues such as Deiglan Gallery in Iceland, Pure Print in Porto, MuVIM in Valencia, Estampa Fair in Madrid, Rac Foundation, Museum of Pontevedra, Casa das Artes in Vigo and the Auditorio de Galicia in Santiago de Compostela.
